Live 4:1

Kaleb Krempel-Keyboard. I find it amazing that when I use the gift that God gave me, people praise the Lord and connect with God. I enjoy looking out into the crowd seeing the hands raised and hearing their sweet voices.

Darlene Bush-I believe that God has anointed me to serve leading worship. As He guides me, I lead the people to the mountain of worship. It is a great responsibility and I am awed that He has chosen me to be a vessel for Him. I also thank Him for the ministry of Live 4:1. A diverse group of young people sold out totally for the purpose of serving God and others. Walk Worthy!

Jon Krempel - Keyboards, Vocalist, Songwriter I try to live daily a lifestyle that honors God. When I play, I close my eyes and let the Holy Spirit take over. I desire to be truly devoted to walk in the path that God has chosen for me.

Natasha Perrine- “Because you are my help, I will sing in the shadow of your wings.” ~Psalm 63:7. He is indeed my help, and as I continue in my walk, my desire is to live a life that honors Him and lift my voice to praise His name always. God bless and Jesus loves you!

James "Qua" Saunders-I've been given a great gift to play drums. God has really blessed me! I want to use it for His will. As I continue to use my gift, I pray that He will continue to use me so I can reach many people and show them how great God is. I'm very thankful every time I get the chance to play.

Live 4:1 is a ministry of christian musicians who have a desire to utilize their musical gifts and talents to the glory of God, and while serving, have fun and fellowshipping with each other. We live in Fort Wayne, IN and Churubusco, IN. Our musical influences are Casting Crowns, Israel & New Breed, Michael W. Smith, Fred Hammond, Hillsongs, and Vineyard. There are so many more that we could add to this list.

We started playing in the youth praise band called Next Wave at Huntertown UMC in 2002. We led worship at church and also traveled to a few youth retreats in Ohio. Normally, the other members take the summer off. But we wanted to continue rehearsing and singing as much as possible. We felt a strong commitment that God was calling us to do more. We continued to grow spiritually, in musicianship and started receiving invitations sing at other churches and events. By 2004, we decided that we would take our commitment further by forming a group. Since we were undecided about the name, a friend suggested the name Live 4:1 based on the scripture reference listed above. It encourages that whatever God has called you to do, walk worthy of your calling. We felt that it more than fitted who we were and what we were about. It also made the statement that we live for one person….God! So we became  Live 4:1.

The uniqueness of Live 4:1 is the diversity of our group. We are from different ethnic and church backgrounds. But God created a melting pot, blending us all together to create a Christ-centered sound that touches the lives of people everywhere. It hasn’t been an easy task, especially being a young group with the view society has of youth today. But we have a message we want people to hear! Although we could be in the world taking part in all it has to offer, we choose to serve God. We desire to serve in whatever way He wants us to. This has included mission trips, homeless shelters, feeding the hungry and music ministries. We’ve traveled to Ohio, Wisconsin and Michigan taking our ministry of hope and healing mixed with praise and worship. The experiences we’ve gained along with people we’ve met has truly shown the love of God never fails. One member, Natasha, expresses it this way, “It has been placed on our hearts to minister to the lost and encourage the doubtful.”

Our mission is devotion to serving God and others in need, with a goal to take our ministry all over the world, feeding the people naturally and spiritually. We’ve been blessed us to write, record and perform our own music. In 2007, we released our first demo entitled ‘Introducing Live 4:1.’ We want to continue our christian music, but we need your help.
